Return Policy

All returns covered under our 10-day return policy are subject to the following:

 

Defective, damaged returns:

  1. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by ImperialSwords.com, MUST accompany ALL returns and be printed on the outside portion of the shipping box in order to avoid refusal.
  2. ANY & ALL returns sent without an RMA number will be refused, no exceptions. All Returns are subject to a 10% stocking fee. Shipping and Handling Charges are Non Refundable.
  3. RMA numbers must be obtained no later than 7-days from date of receipt which will be valid only for 10 days from date of issuance, and are issued only once.
  4. No other RMA numbers will be issued after this time frame. Contact us to receive a Return Authorization (RMA) number, Please include your order number in your message for us to locate your order.
  5. After the 10-day warranty period, please contact the respective manufacturer or warranty provider.

ALL RETURNS MUST BE FREIGHT PRE-PAID BY THE CUSTOMER.

  1. We recommend you use FedEx, UPS, or DHL.
  2. Please make sure your package is sent with a tracking number to avoid loss or confusion.
  3. All returns will be processed and fully inspected after they arrive in our warehouse.
  4. All products must be returned in original condition, including packaging, documentation, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories, along with a copy of your invoice.
  5. Products returned without original packaging, accessories, and documentation, cannot be accepted and will be returned at customer’s expense.
  6. If a customer refuses to pay for the return of the unaccepted return, the customer will not be entitled to any further refunds.

  1. ImperialSwords.com cannot and will not accept items that are shown to have been abused, altered, or broken, whether accidental or intentional, even if within the 10 day warranty period.
  2. We also do not accept returns if the product has been used and even lightly damaged. For example, if you’ve ordered a replica weapon, please don’t expect a refund if you’ve attempted to cut something with it.
  3. A loose saya or tsuba is not considered a defect. Correcting such things is part of the regular maintenance of the sword. If you find a loose saya or tsuba, contact us and we can provide instructions on how to properly tighten them.
  4. Also, less expensive items are more apt to have tiny imperfections. When purchasing inexpensive swords, this is to be expected and will not warrant a refund.
  5. You may return the item, but it will be subject to the standard policy for non-defective returns.
  6. Products that are deemed defective can only be exchanged for the same product, if the same product is out of stock, we will advise you of the back order or offer you a similar product at our discretion.No exceptions.
  7. If we are unable to exchange an item for the same, or a replacement of equal or greater value within a 30 day period, you will be issued a refund minus 10% stocking fees.
